I am Aljan Scholtens. As a landscape photographer, I capture the wild, where the world slows down and everything becomes clear. As the creator of Wolf Maps, I build the tools for others to map and explore the great outdoors. Two worlds that come together in creation, freedom, and discovery.
What am I doing?
- Full focus on building Wolf Maps. A tool to create beautiful and shareable maps. Get in touch if you want to know more.
- I am in the process of creating a multi-day hiking trail in the area where I live. The progress is viewable in Wolf Maps.
- Just finished a video about hiking the Hermannshöhen in Germany.
- I am working on a book with my best landscape photos. I expect to finish it in 2026. Sneak peek.
- I occasionally post landscape photos on Instagram.
- I post pictures of our Kleine Münsterländer Nikki on Instagram. She is sweet, stubborn and enthusiastic!
